Aideen and Kevin's dreamy late summer wedding in Kilshane House.

In September last year, Aideen and Kevin celebrated their wedding in the beautiful Kilshane House in Co Tipperary. This wedding oozed style and sophistication. Aideen's 1920's vintage headpiece, elegant gown and delicate bouquet created the feeling of 'old movie romance' that set the tone for the day.
I fell in love with Aideen's gown which was purchased at Emporium Kalu in Naas. Aideen had originally chosen a different dress but when she went for a fitting and saw this gown come in for the new season she just had to have it. I think she chose wisely; it is unique and oh so elegant!
This wedding stationary made me 'oooh' out loud when I first saw it. What a beautiful choice of colours, style, material and the love birds would melt anyone's heart!
Now for the 'piece de resistance' - Aideen's headpiece. This was so different to anything I had ever seen a bride wear. The hand made 1920's vintaged styled band complimented Aideen's gown beautifully and set off the 'old style hollywood glamour' look perfectly. She looked like a 1920's hollywood movie star!
Aideen and Kevin held their ceremony in the nearby church in Bansha.
Kilshane House, built in 1822, is situated on 320 acres of private parkland including Victorian landscaped gardens, a lake, huge trees and little walkways through an array of stunning colours and a dreamy sky. The spacious conservatory is the perfect spot for a champagne reception before dinner in the impressive Orangerie.
Aideen's primary school pupils ctreated 'happy wedding drawings' for her which she then incorporated into her table plan and displayed around the room. What a lovely touch!

A huge congratulations to Aideen and Kevin on a beautiful day. It was a pleasure to be part of it!
