Dublin City Wedding with a 1950's vibe!

Criona and David met over 10 years while studying to become architects. Having lived together in Ballsbridge over the years they decided that their day would encapsulate the time they had spent together with romantic walks through Herbert Park, drinks with friends at Mary Macs Pub and a celebration at the nearby Bewleys Hotel. Criona went for a 1950's style wedding dress which she designed and made herself believe it or not...stunning! So much thought and lovely detail went into her dress, it was truly unique; with buttons chosen from a vintage 'button shop' while the couple were holidaying in Seville and her 'something blue' underskirt. Criona also hand made the silk flower bouquets, ring cushion and flower arrangements as well as the flower girl's entire outfit! This bride was so hands on it was impressive; she even put together the mens' button holes right before my eyes the morning of her wedding while she was getting ready herself! Calm as a breeze too....Wow!!
